The Holy Balls of Khost Province

The Iraqi and Afghani kids love the U.S. military and they enjoy getting "footballs", as I described in this story.  But now, apparently there is an attack on the holy balls of Khost Province.   Michelle Malkin wrote about this and it is a must read.

I was in a helicopter, in the Khost Province, when servicemen were throwing these soccer balls out.  I can assure you the Afghan kids love to get "footballs" and I never saw one Muslim go blind, burst into flames, or even throw a ball back to the soldiers.

Matt-

A ball is a ball. If someone dosen't like a symbol on a ball, kick it. That gives the baller a chance to regularly punish that symbol.

Its amazing what kind of propaganda that Islamists and Keith Olbermann can squeeze out of something like this. Yeah... on his August 27th show, Keith awarded our military the bronze as the "Worst Person in the World Award" for the ignorant reaction of Islamists to this episode. Which basically is just a false justification for their support of violence. Even before the soccer balls were distributed the flag of Israel had to be taken off, so you can see that it is a full time job to appease the sensitive hordes of suicide jihadist sympathizers.

U.S. troops and the charity, Spirit of America, have been doing humanitarian work like this for years and Olbermann hasnt spent much time praising them for all the good work that they have done. Yet he has waited for Islamists to seize upon a pretext for condemning the charity of our military in order to unleash his own hatefulness towards those sincerely trying to help the Afghanis and Iraqis.

Meanwhile Al Qaeda laughs...

(How in the world can a prominent American award the U.S. Military the "Worst Person in the World Award" when they are in the middle of a war against brutal enemies like Al Qaeda, the Taliban and the Baathists?!!! This is unbelievably sad.)
