See, I told you So.
Final nail in Scott Thomas Beauchamp's coffin. Our friend, Bob Owen, over at Confederate Yankee filed a Freedom of Information request and obtained sworn statements from Beauchamp's fellow soldiers. If you don't know who Beauchamp is, there's plenty written on him.
The following statements were made July 27th, 2007, right when I got to FOB Falcon, Baghdad. Everyone knew the content of these statements, but I kept my promise of discretion as a matter of honor.
This guy is a private (E-1), after four years of active duty in the military. That's kind of like being a freshman, after four years of attending college full-time.
Here are some choice sworn statements from Beauchamp's Staff Sergeant and fellow soldiers.
"I did not witness mass graves at FOB Falcon or COP Ellis"
"He went AWOL (Absent without Leave) before, so he does not like the Army."
"No he is not a reliable soldier soldier, he has personally lied to me twice. Once when he went AWOL and a second time when he was malingering."
To "malinger", in military talk, means to drag one's feet and shirk duty. Malingering is exactly what The New Republic is doing since the editor who published this garbage, Franklin Foer, is still heading the publication.
Matt Sanchez - Thanks for getting the truth out about Scott Thomas Beauchamp. I wonder why this isn't on the front page of the New Reublic,
or the N.Y. Times ?
Keep us up to date on this U.S. Army gentleman.
